Palms is one of the older pieces of this side of the city — founded in 1886, folded into Los Angeles in 1915 — and one of its densest. Apartment blocks sit next to bungalows, the small commercial run along Motor Avenue serves the streets around it, and the E Line (the old Expo) puts the rest of the Westside within easy reach.

Our studio is in Mar Vista, west along National or Venice Boulevard and a short drive from most of Palms. Because so many people here get around on the train or on foot, we see a lot of first-timers who are fitter than they think and simply have never been taught to move from their core. That is a good place to start.

Getting Here

From Palms, National or Venice Boulevard brings you west to Centinela Avenue. If you ride the E Line (the old Expo), the Palms station is the closest stop and the rest is a short hop by bike or car.
